Design Bundles – One of the best Sites for Graphic Design & Craft Resources

Design Bundles started in July 2016, since then they’ve been providing awesome design bundles that are not only high quality but affordable too. Design Bundles provide graphics, mock ups, patterns, icon sets, textures, illustrations and a hell of a lot more. About Design Bundles:

If you are fed up of spending ages trawling the internet for the best assets for your project or you need amazingly bright, vibrant background assets then look no further. Design Bundles is a brilliant alternative to The Hungry JPEG.

The site was built to cater for everyone from the humble home crafter to large design companies looking for high quality design assets that’ll help them achieve their project goals.

The sheer number of assets available is why they are on our list of Top 10 Sites for Graphic Design & Craft Resources.

Since launching the site, they’ve built a customer base of over 1 million people. To grow a site to 1 million users is no mean feat, it seems their customer service is the foundation in which they operate too. Just check out some of the reviews online, they’re fantastic.

Design Cuts

Another online destination for designers. Design Cuts help designers get together to share resources, knowledge and assets. They have an active community centered around their Facebook page.

Design cuts often have some superb pricing on Font’s. On the face of it, it looks like a great deal but we’re not sure how they’re able to reduce their prices by so much.

For example we saw a bundle reduced from $2343 down to just $29.

We could only imagine it’s due to the particular fonts in the bundle being very ‘niche’ and only useful in specific use cases. Or maybe they don’t sell that many so selling some at a loss is better than selling none.

Nevertheless they are really popular amongst designers and have a vast marketplace of assets available. That vast range of assets is why they’re included on the list.

The Hungry Jpeg

The Hungry JPEG bill themselves as a Premium Design Resource. The site was started in November 2014 as a place to help designers, crafters, newbies and seasoned graphic designers to provide high quality design resources at an affordable price.

Their online marketplace didn’t launch until a year later as they initially concentrated on giving away free resources. They do have a pretty decent freebies section.

The premium paid for library is where you’ll be able to find fantastic fonts, vectors, backgrounds and logo templates in their vast library of assets.

Pricing varies massively and some items can be a tad expensive for comparable items on this list. That said, it’s extremely popular among the web design and graphic design communities.

Web Designer Depot

Web Designer Depot was founded all the way back in 2008 and has been a vast source of web design resources ever since. It doesn’t just includegGraphical elements but a vast library of how-to articles and guides as well.

It also has a dedicated section for Web Design deals but it appears these links do go to a third party. So we’d recommend sticking to what’s on offer under their premium resources or freebies sections.

The site is immensely popular online and is one of the larger sites in terms of number of resources available.

Web Designer Depot is a great resource for web designers. Exactly as it says on the tin!

Craft Bundles

Craft Bundles is a place to find high quality craft-friendly design assets at affordable prices. Every bundle they sell comes with a full complete license so it means you’ll be able to re-sell whatever you create without worrying about legal implications.

Pricing is competitive and they have a massive library of resources for you to browse and purchase.

The site was a little slow to load for us, but that may have been our network that was the issue and not necessarily their end.

It’s included in the list because as well as the paid graphic resources they have a vast library of $1 deals.

Free Pik – A brilliant Site for free Graphic Design & Craft Resources

The first free resource site on this list. Free Pik. It was founded in 2010 by brothers Alejandro and Pablo Baines. They wanted to create a platform where graphic designers could find free resources.

You’ll be able to find over 2 million vectors, stock photos, PSD and icons on their free plan. If you need more, they have a premium plan where you can get access to thousands more.

Vecteezy – Another Site for free Graphic Design & Craft Resources

Another free resource site. Vecteezy is mainly all about (as you’ve probably guessed) vectors.

They call themselves the largest vector graphics and photo community in the world. If you need a Vector, just go ahead and search for something and get it downloaded.

It’s really simple and there’s no need to sign up. Which in my view is as good as it gets for a free resource and that’s a good enough reason to be on our 10 Sites for Graphic Design & Craft Resources online list.

There are quite a few premium results on the search results pages though and if you want those you’ll have to pay. Which judging by the quality of them, it’s a fair price to pay for premium assets.

As I mentioned, most of the files are free to download and, depending on the license, free to use in your projects.

Creative Market

Creative Market is a marketplace built to support content creators, graphic designers and anyone in general that needs access to photos, graphics, templates or web themes. Founded in 2012 it’s gone on to have a library of over 250,000 items.

They have a large discussion board and blog with helpful articles.

The sign up process is easy, using your Facebook account. Their free goods section isn’t as good as others on this list but the website is easy to use and is popular among blog owners and people working in the 3D space.

New Old Stock

New Old Stock is exactly what it says on the tin. However, it’s a little different than the other sites in this article.

This site features vintage photos from multiple archives that are free of any know copyright or liabilities. It offers photos captured from past historical events.

Although the website has free old photos, the quality has been enhanced through a re-mastering process to provide the best quality possible. It has a really friendly user-interface, so we’d definitely recommend checking them out if you need some old school style photos for your project.

Pixabay

Our 10th and final one on the list is Pixabay. It doesn’t have the choice of the others on this list and you are limited to just stock images, some vectors and a few illustrations. But hear us out.

We’ve included it on this list because the quality of the photos you get is awesome, they don’t bombard you with pop-ups every time you load a page. And, best of all the website is quick and easy to use. Perfect for generic blog owners.
