Xbox Game Pass December 2022 free games

If you’re after a sneak peak at what you can expect from Xbox Game Pass in December 2022, then look no further. Here’s what you can expect from the monthly membership this month on console, PC and the cloud.

December is usually a super strong month for game pass and it’s one I look forward to most. Here’s the games we know that are coming to game pass in December so far:

  1. Hello Neighbor 2
  2. High On Life
  3. Infinite Guitars
  4. Chained Echoes
  5. Battlefield 2042

As more games are announced, we’ll update the list.

We’re starting the month strong with the day one release of the hyped up Hello Neighbor 2. Set directly after the first game, this sequel picks up where the first one left off. It’s an epic stealth horror game with some cool twists and turns.

The first in the series has a pretty strong, almost cult like following. I’m super excited for this one and I can’t wait for it to be launched via game pass day one release.

Aswell as this brilliant headliner, there are a bunch of other brand new titles coming, including Squanch games highly anticipated High On Life.

Xbox Game Pass December 2022

Alongside those brand new day one release titles, a bunch of games by smaller studios are due to land. Check out the current list of Xbox Game Pass games coming in December 2022 below. Let’s take a closer look and find out more about each game on the list.

Hello Neighbor 2

Date: December 6th 2022

Platform: Console & PC

Hello Neighbor 2 is a horror stealth game with a difference. The idea is that it’s a game that learns your behaviors, which can get pretty annoying. But, it does make for a challenging gaming experience.

It’s one of those games that on the surface you’ll pretend to hate, but deep down you know you actually enjoy playing it.

The first one wasn’t as polished as it could have been. It needed a bit more refinement to take it to that next level. For example, there were points in the game where you were unable to perform a certain action but it didn’t give you any indication as to why you weren’t able to do it. I do love the artwork on this one, it’s very Tim Burton esque.

It’s got quite the following too! With an animated TV series and merch including kids toys. I recon if you play this on day one you’ll enjoy it. Let’s just hope the refinements are complete.

The game is available on Amazon, hit the button below to check it out.

High On Life

Date: December 13th 2022

Platform: Console & PC

What would you do if you had just left high school without a job to go to? Not only that, what’d you do if you didn’t have even one ounce of ambition at all? So, put it this way, you’ve got pretty much nothing going for you.

But wait! What’s that? An alien cartel wants to invade earth and get high off of humanity? Not on your watch. You have to put up a fight and stop them from achieving their aims.

You and a team of charismatic talking guns (yep, I said talking guns) must become the heroes of the hour and fight off the alien hordes and save the day. Are you up for the challenge?

You can tell it’s from one of the Rick and Morty creators right off of the bat. Using humans to get high is a pretty out there concept but one that’s new and fairly fresh, I really rather like it. I’m interested in seeing how the game mechanics match up to this new, fresh idea. I hope it’s not too serious.

Having mentioned that I hope it’s not too serious, take a look at the trailer on YouTube, it looks bonkers and I’m for sure looking forward to playing it on day one.

Infinite Guitars

Date: TBC

Platform: Console & PC

Based in a world shredded by a devastating war between the Mechs. These are the remnants of humanity as they scavenge and fight for their very survival.

Just as things are starting to calm down a bit, the metal war machines reawaken. Your only hope is your electric guitar, it can (for some strange reason) turn their technology against them!

Gather up the party, tune up your favorite axe, and get ready to rock in Infinite Guitars, a genre-melting rhythm RPG featuring vibrant anime-inspired art, adrenaline-fueled Mech battles, and a blazing original soundtrack.

It’s available on Steam and Amazon. Hit the button below to check it out.

Chained Echoes

Date: December 13th 2022

Platform: Console

Here’s one for RPG fans, Chained Echoes comes to Xbox Game Pass this December and I couldn’t be more excited.

It’s got heavy Final Fantasy vibes and I recon playing this on Xbox will only make the gameplay and game mechanics much better.

Here’s the plot synopsis from IGDB:

“Take up your sword, channel your magic or board your Mech. Chained Echoes is a 16-bit SNES style RPG set in a fantasy world where dragons are as common as piloted mechanical suits.”

Battlefield 2042

Date: 1st December 2022

Platform: Free To Play

This one isn’t quite confirmed for game pass in December 2022. But, it’ll added as a free to play between 1st December 8:01pm – 5th December 7:59am GMT.

This FPS doesn’t really doesn’t need any introduction, so if you want to play it for free, catch it on the 1st December.
