SnowRunner XBOX Release Date has been announced. Yes, the driving simulator is coming soon to XBOX ONE. Let’s take a closer look at this epic open world off-road driving sim.
SnowRunner XBOX Release Date – When is it available?
It’s available right now to pre-order (link opens in new tab), it’ll be released on 28th April 2020.
SnowRunner is the highly anticipated sequel to an epic off-road sim called MudRunner. MudRunner went on to sell millions so the developer, Saber Interactive knows how to make a great game. SnowRunner is said to be the ultimate off-road driving simulation experience.
SnowRunner has all-new snow environments that’ll give you plenty of unique challenges, you’ll need to overcome them in order to get to where you need to go!
Whilst trying to complete your driving contracts you’ll be faced with torrential water, mud and snowbanks. As well as ICE and frozen lakes.
You’ll need to work on expanding and updating your fleet of trucks to help you tackle and be ready for, whichever environment you’ll be driving through.

SnowRunner is just as enjoyable as a solo game as it is playing in synchronous 4-player co-op mode.
Players will also be pleased to hear that on the day of it’s release the game will have full support for PC modders. This means that it’ll allow a near infinite off-road experience, as long as the community content creators keep churning out new stuff.
Console gamers rejoice too, because as we understand it mods should be coming to games consoles sometime in the near future.
They announced the news via their official website, it read:
“We can already confirm that, as you would expect, SnowRunner will feature mod support on PC at launch. We owe so much to our mod fanbase and their endless creativity, and we can’t wait to see what they will create with our new and improved tools! We’ll share more details about this topic in the coming months.”
SnowRunner XBOX Release Date – All New Graphics Engine
It’s powered by an all new graphics engine. The game now has improved physics simulation. This means that SnowRunner will now look even better than MudRunner. And judging by the trailer, the environments that the graphic designers have created look simply stunning.
As you climb in to the driver’s seat of some of the most powerful vehicles on the market you’ll be able to explore and conquer wild open environments.
They’ll be 15 all new accessible maps full of all the good stuff. Snow, mud, hills and mountainous regions. Some of those areas are said to be more than 3 times larger than the original game MudRunner.
You’ll take on these new maps in vehicles from famous brands such as Ford and Chevrolet. We hope the license allows SnowRunner to make sure the graphics on the vehicles are as good as the trailers show and that are true to life.
