Here’s all we know about what’s coming to PS Plus Games in January 2021. Yep you heard that right, news of the latest games coming to the PlayStation Plus subscription service are starting to filter through. And there are three awesome games for you to play with your subscriptions!
We’ll detail everything we know so far about the upcoming games aswell as some games we’d love to see. We were almost right with our prediction too. Check it out below.

Man Eater
Maneater is an action role-playing game developed and published by Tripwire Interactive. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 22, 2020, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 in November 2020, and will be released for the Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2021.
We’re really excited to play it this January with our PS Plus subscriptions!
Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
A real classic Tomb Raider game! And we’re really pleased to see it come to PS Plus!
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a 2018 action-adventure video game developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix. It continues the narrative from the 2015 game Rise of the Tomb Raider and is the twelfth mainline entry in the Tomb Raider series.
Greed Fall
GreedFall is an action role-playing game developed by Spiders and published by Focus Home Interactive. This game is really quite bad though! So don’t bother.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is a re-release of Tomb Raider, developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square-Enix for the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One. The game is optimized for next-gen consoles, with the help of outside developers including United Front Games and Nixxes Software.
It’s such an underrated game, the graphics are superb and the story is a lot darker than we expected. It’s a real throwback to those initial few games on the PS One, back in the day.
Definitive Edition includes several visual and game play enhancements, and is packaged with all available downloadable content for the game.
The game was first released on January 28th, 2014 and we’d love to see it be re-released again on PlayStation Plus.
Dragon Quest Builders 2
First released in 2018, Dragon Quest Builders is a brilliant building RPG game. It’s got a 84/100 rating on IGDB.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a block-building role-playing game with a charming campaign and a robust multiplayer building mode that supports up to four players online.
Create your customized character, team-up with your fearless friend Malroth, gather the skills required to become a full-fledged builder, and combat the Children of Hargon, a vile cult that worships destruction!
Then, take your builder online and join your friends to collaborate and create something truly magnificent. Don’t let the name fool you, despite the 2, this is a completely standalone experience featuring new characters, an expansive world, unlimited building combinations, and a storyline that’s sure to satisfy longtime fans and newcomers alike!
We really would like to see this game be made available to PlayStation Plus in January 2021.
What is PS Plus?
PlayStation Plus is a paid PlayStation Network subscription service that provides it’s members with access to a fantastic set of premium features including a massive library of free to play games.
These features include getting early access to games that haven’t been released on general sale, free games and beta trials.
As part of the PS Plus subscription, you’ll get two PlayStation 4 games every month and 100 GB of cloud storage space for your game saves.
To play PS4 online multiplayer requires you to buy a subscription to PlayStation Plus, the basic online subscription doesn’t include any games. So make sure you choose the correct subscription to suit your needs as a gamer.

PS Plus January 2021 Monthly games
Your membership to Sony’s subscription service includes access to a huge library of free to play games, new games are being added every month. The older titles are withdrawn from the collection periodically to freshen up the collection and keep new ones rolling in.
You can keep all games in the PS Plus Games collection as long as you remain a member. If you allow your membership to run out, these games will become unavailable.
If you renew it, you’ll be able to play them again.

How much does PlayStation Plus cost each month?
It will cost between £4.17 per month and £6.99 per month.
Can I buy a PlayStation Plus Gift Card for a friend or family member?
Yes, you can! Gift cards are can be purchased from the PS store online. Give the gift of one, three or twelve months PS Plus subscription.
Will I be able to keep the games I have downloaded to my console on PS Plus?
Once your PlayStation Plus membership comes to an end, any gaming content you previously downloaded at no cost as part of the membership (such as Plus Monthly Games) will no longer be available to play.
How long can I keep PS Plus games?
PlayStation Plus games are only available for a month, so make sure you download it as soon possible. Ideally as the games become available. This will ensure you don’t miss out.
How many free games do you get each month with a PS Plus subscription?
You’ll get two games each month! But sometimes they’ll suprise us and release an extra one every now and then.
Can I play PS1 games with a PS Plus subscription
No, they are not backward compatible.
