PS Plus Collection Games on PS5

Here’s the latest news and information about the PS Plus Collection Games on PS5. It was really exiting when Sony made their recent announcement about the PlayStation Plus Collection.

The PS Plus Collection is a brand new member benefit for those of us subscribed to the PS Plus subscription service. There is one stipulation though, in order to get all of the available collection games you’ll need to own a PS5.

Sony themselves described the new member benefit as “a new PlayStation Plus benefit for PlayStation 5,”

Some of the games consist of PlayStation classics like; Uncharted 4, God of War, The Last of Us: Remastered, Bloodborne, Batman Arkham Knight, Fallout 4, Mortal Kombat X, and more.

You’ll get to download and play more than 15 games with both Sony’s own and third-party titles included in this epic collection.

If you own a PS5 you’ll be able to download and play a bunch of select PS4 titles included in the cost of your PS Plus subscription. Here’s what games are going to be included as part of the PS Plus Collection:

How Does It Work?

You’ll get access to the above games on the PS5 launch date. You’ll be able download and play these games directly. It’s not a streaming service like Stadia. Sony have also confirmed that the entire games collection will be available when the PS5 launches on November 12th.

The PS5 PlayStation Plus Collection is the perfect way to bulk out your games library. It’ll help you get the most out of the PS5 if you don’t have many games at the launch. Games are pretty expensive and if you’re already paying for a PS Plus subscription, you might as well make the most if it.

Battlefield 1 will be available on the PS Plus PS5 Collection.

Is PS Plus Collection Available on PS4?

Unfortunately not. The PlayStation Plus Collection is a membership benefit only for PS5 owners. It’s an additional bonus for PS Plus members with a PS5, and will go hand in hand alongside all of the usual benefits you’re used to getting on your PS4.

Do You Have to Pay Extra for PS Plus Collection?

The great news is that you won’t need to pay anything extra for access to the entire PS Plus PS5 collection. It will become part of your PlayStation Plus subscription benefits on PS5. You’ll still have to pay for your subscription but the fee will remain the same as it is now.

We’re not sure if they’ll increase the price to accommodate this extra benefit, but we certainly hope they won’t. If that changes, we’ll come back and update the article.
