John Wick Hex PS4 Release Date
Building on their work from the original title, John Wick Hex for PlayStation®4 will allow you to perform every fight move and skill at Wick’s disposal. Almost as if you are Wick himself!
John Wick Hex is already available on PC. The game has voice acting by Ian McShane (Winston) and Lance Reddick (Charon). It’d have been nice to have had Keanu Reeves reprise his role but sadly he hasn’t joined the games roster of John Wick stars.
Video game voice actor, Troy Baker, provides the voice for Hex, the games antagonist.
John Wick Hex is a strategy game with a difference. They call it a ‘timeline’ strategy game. This means that it’s a game where you control every single second of John Wicks decision making ability.
They say, it’s not a turn-based game but a time based one.
Actions and fight sequences take a specific amount of time to complete, so as you play, you’ll need to time your button presses around whilst taking that of your enemies into consideration.
Fight choreography has been worked on with the choreographers behind the actual John Wick movies! (how cool is that!) The fight sequences should then feel like they do in the films.
Apparently during testing the games fighting mechanics they found that players who had watched the films where better than those that hadn’t.
So, log onto to Amazon Prime Video and get re-watching the movie trilogy to get a fighting performance boost
John Wick Hex will be available to buy from the Playstation Store for £15.99 / $19.58 on the 5th May 2020.

“John Wick Hex is fight-choreographed chess brought to life. It expands on the John Wick universe with a new storyline, unique graphic noir art design, and the world-class voice talents of Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and Troy Baker. The game also includes a riveting original score by Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory (Journey, Flow, the Banner Saga series).
Created in close collaboration with the creative and stunt teams behind Lionsgate’s hit franchise, John Wick Hex captures the feel of the unique tactical combat from the films and blurs the line between the strategy and action video game genres. Each action has its own risks and consequences, and every weapon changes the tactics at hand. Ammo is limited and realistically simulated, so time your reloads and make each choice count.
John Wick Hex will be available for £15.99 on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system via the PlayStation®Store on May 5. John Wick Hex is currently available for Windows PC and Mac exclusively via the Epic Games Store. For more details, visit JohnWickHex.com, and follow @mikeBithell and @GoodShepherdEnt on Twitter.”
