Inertial Drift Nintendo Switch Release Date

Developed by Level 91 Entertainment Inertial Drift is coming to the PS4, XBOX ONE, Nintendo Switch and PC in August. It’s set in a 90’s retro future environment, the description sounds quite confusing but once you see the images and screenshots, it all makes sense. It’s actually a really accurate description.

Inertial Drift is set to tear apart the drifting rule book! It’s innovative dual stick control system re-define driving mechanics completely.

The press release announcing the release date goes on to say “Twice the controls, twice the control! A completely new level of precision allows for drifts a hair’s breadth away from the crash barrier, making every turn intense!”

The controls and mechanics sound interesting!

Upon first glance the launch trailer suggests that they’d only be 2 cars to choose from, you don’t need to worry though. In a YouTube comment PQube Games confirmed that they’d be 16 individual cars. Here’s what they said.

“Inertial Drift will have 16 fiercely individual cars with totally different characteristics to master!”

So, there’s loads of cars then! We need racing tracks to race them on. Don’t worry on that front either as according to the press release, there are 20 tracks to drift around and just check out the background imagery in the trailer, it looks spectacular.

It’s described as being illuminated by the pink Japanese sunset and the vibrant neon coloured skyline looks brilliant.

This game looks great. Hopefully it’s polished and refined. These sorta games come out all the time and they’re fairly crap.
