Alfred Hitchcock Vertigo Release Date has been announced. The amazing news we’ve all been eagerly waiting for, or should that be impatiently waiting for. This is set to be a typically epic Hitchcock thriller. Aswell as the release date, Microids have shared the story trailer.
The game is set to be released on 16th December 2021 for PC.
So read on below to check out the full press release and everything we know so far about the Alfred Hitchcock Vertigo Release Date. Along with the press release, we’ve also embedded the trailer and it looks awesome. We’re really looking forward to this one.
The game starts with the main character Ed Miller, who’s a writer, he’s just managed to come out of a car crash unscahted. It was a devastating wreck, the car ending up down into Brody Canyon, California. Now this is where things begin to take a bit of a strange turn. Even though no one was found inside the car wreckage, Ed insists that he was traveling with his beloved wife and daughter. Ed’s completely traumatized by the event and he begins to suffer from severe vertigo. As he starts his rehabilitation and emotional therapy, he will try to uncover what really happened on that tragic day.
I did think the game would be loosely connected to the 1958 film of the same name but it isn’t remotely connected. The film is considered by many critics to be one of the greatest films ever made. If we even get a slither of that success translated into the development of the game, we’re in for one hell of a time! Here’s hoping.
Check the cover art below, it does have some similarities to the original.
Prepare yourself for a disturbing investigation inside the human mind: the truth is sometimes worse than madness.
